| BTW, some background info on Chahrshanbe Souri:
It is celebrated on the evening of the last Tue of the year. Last year the new year was on a Wed, so it was like a new years eve. It is not always like that though. Let's say if the new year is on a Mon, then Chaharshanbe Souri would be the preceding Tue, 6 days before the new year.
