I got my XSi tonight, but due to some weird circumstances (going to return it un-opened tomorrow and have parent re-buy it with American Express card, so it's covered in case of damage or theft) I'm not going to be able to use it until tomorrow.
Basically, since this is my first dSLR, and I've been looking forward to it forever, I would really like to take the best care of my camera.
If anyone could give me ANY tips or suggestions, things they'd wish they'd known when they got their camera, I'd really appreciate it. Meaning, how to care for the camera and lens themselves, not how to take the pics themselves.
Basically, feel free to assume that I don't know the first thing about camera care. Seriously,
any advice would be
