| not so much tricks as just holding it down continuously. having all the focus points on, it'll be a little quicker to target instead of working so hard on the one focus point. also, the canons focus using contrast. ie if you focus on a solid colored wall, it'll have issues focusing and will continuously search, as opposed to a patterned wall where it picks up the contrast in the pattern and focuses. grays and blacks are difficult for it, and it focuses on red and white combinations the quickest.
part of the issue with these images may be just that it has a hard time seeing the bike, because of its colors. |
