Hey all. As most of you know I'm a member of pnwriders.com and have been organizing Bike Nights for the past 14 months. I noticed Eric posted up wanting to put together a photo shoot night (way back in March). I didn't notice any posts on how it turned out or if anybody ever showed up. Soooooo, I thought I'd see if there would be any interest in doing something like this. For Bike Night we eat dinner at a local eatery and everybody (almost everybody) rides their bikes to the location. Most plan rides either before or after the dinner so it's not only a way to meet and greet fellow forum members but also get some miles on the bike. I spent some time talking to Eric yesterday at Pacific Raceways and learned sooooo much about lenses. I now know which wide angle lens I want to get and he answered quite a few questions that I had. I've also picked Darren's brain a time or two and it's helped me with camera issues I was having. (thank you Darren for schooling me on my aperture setting for outdoor events). As a newbie to the world of photography I feed off of the knowledge and talent that my fellow forum members provide. I thought it would be cool to meet up for dinner and then go someplace for a photo shoot. It could be sunsets, night shots downtown or whatever. Please post up if you'd be interested in doing something like this. Thanks.
