So I stumbled across this article on Slashdot this morning:
Slashdot | Photographers Face Ejection Over Lenses
And it brings a good question to light:
What rights do photographers have? Where is the line drawn between public and private? What "moral" lines should we not cross? Have you ever taken a photo you considered to be questionable?
I for one am printing out the following documents and will be carrying them with me in my backpack for all relevant future shoots:
Photographer Rights: http://www.kantor.com/blog/Legal-Rig...tographers.pdf
and
http://www.krages.com/ThePhotographersRight.pdf Property Release: Digital Photography Applied - Property Basic Model Release: NYIP - Model Release Form - A Basic Model Release Form for Use in Photography Sessions and Photo Shoots Title 42 Description: US CODE: Title 42,1983. Civil action for deprivation of rights
What is your take on it?
