Right now I have this lens AF Zoom-NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4-5.6G from Nikon. It just doesn't seem to be a fast enough lens tho. My pictures with this lens are not nearly as sharp as with my other lenses. The lens I'm looking at is AF-S VR Zoom-NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED from Nikon Has anyone tried both of these lenses? Would this be a good choice? Any input would be appreciated. My current lenses that I have are: AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR AF Zoom-NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4-5.6G |

It will still run you a good 800 bucks, or 650 on ebay maybe.... I had it for a while but it the hypersonic focus motor didnt like the D200. It was a known issue with HSM lenses and the D200.
