So far, so good!
Microsoft finally released Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Windows Vista. I have been an early adopter of Vista, and have found that managing my photos and photo software have ran better under XP than Vista.
So I downloaded the 400Mb service pack and watched an install that took over an hour on my laptop.
I dont notice anything new, regarding features or functionality, but I do notice an increase in speed all throughout the operating system. Managing large folder of photos and opening up the standard suite of Adobe software are happening with faster access times.
I'm only 12 hours into the service pack, but I've seen a lot of speed improvements all throughout Vista. I guess I'll keep using it, to see how it continues to fair.
How have your experiences been with Vista SP1?
