status repair went from it'll be fixed within 7 business days (when it was received on 11/18) to 10 business days as of today. seriously? wtf?

with the events over the last five days, i'm surprised i haven't shot my foot off. this just kind of tops the cake.

oh wait.

so, it's in my hands. i don't think this is my camera.

first - big scratch on the top of the flash.
second - there's nothing that resembles raspberry truffle anywhere and the battery compartment opens without a problem

although, everything is still on my old settings and obviously the serial number is still the same...

at least i got another 6 months on my warranty to try and break it again.

i'm just happy to have it back finally. there was a really cool set-up with the moon and two planets today, but that was as i was getting in my car to go pick up the camera in lewiston (fedex signature requirement ftl) and it all went to shit after that.

another funny note...the service details:
