So far, so good!

Microsoft finally released Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Windows Vista. I have been an early adopter of Vista, and have found that managing my photos and photo software have ran better under XP than Vista.

So I downloaded the 400Mb service pack and watched an install that took over an hour on my laptop.

I dont notice anything new, regarding features or functionality, but I do notice an increase in speed all throughout the operating...

Just picked up a brand new Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR Lens... usually I go with B+W for protective lens filters, but went with a Nikon filter instead...

First impressions... external noise - I'm talking audible noise, not picture noise.

It has a solid construction, feels great on my D300, very manageable, classic Nikon feel...

With the internal lens movement, and compared to the quiet motors of my Nikon 28-70 2.8, this lens makes that additional "click"...

I have a few different blogs, but since the blogs on this site are open to Lurkers and Members both, I plan on using this for my own personal photo blog.

I hope I can look back and see an improvement in my photos.
