Question On HDR

So I've been researching a lot about the whole HDR process and how you go about creating them.

I have a program that Im getting from a friend as well as Photoshop CS that I will put on my laptop once I get it dumped and reformatted.

Now I know that in order to create HDR pictures you need 3 levels or more of exposure, most using AEB which I have finally figured out.

My questions is, with having the 3 levels, can you do night HDR photos without a flash???

I love doing night photography and that is usually the time I can get out and take most pictures since I work so dang much and generally get off work at 12am.

with you needing low exposure, normal exposure, high exposure Im wondering if, 1) You can do the 3 photos in AEB mode with a slow shutter speed and if so 2) will the night time photo on a low exposure mess up the over lapping of the 3 photos in the HDR programs?

Does that make sense??

Any input on this would be awesome! I have a few places Id like to go and do some HDR pictures at night, but I wondered if its possible or not.

Thanks in Advance.

I'm not sure, but hey, you're shooting digital so all it costs is time.

A family friend of ours, Bob Metzler, Bob Metzler Photographs Home Page has been teaching me from time to time so thats helped a lot as well.
