It looks like this is gonna be happening soon... movies on our digital cameras:

Oh snap! Does this make my newish DSLR obsolete? Dunno if convergence is "the next big thing" in high-end photography. Pretty soon we'll be videographers too!

While I can see how that would be great I still like single purpose devices. At some point I don't need yet another function to use on the same device.

In other words I didn't get a stiffy reading this.
