Weekly Photo Assignment 14 - Grab your camera and be inspired!

This week's assignment: Windows - Even more than doors, windows seem to come in all forms, aggregations and environments. Much scope for variety and creativity here.

Ends on Sunday August 10. Please post up your photo submission by then.

Awesome assignment. I walked around Capitol Hill and downtown Seattle for almost 3 hours this morning. I needed to get it done before going out of town for video assignments and Wedding gigs. Here are my submissions for this weeks assignment. Thank you Beans for doing these weekly assignments. I'm having sooooo much fun doing them and learning a lot from the feedback that everybody is giving me.

Let me know if I'm posting too big of pics. Darren wanted to see larger resolution pics so I'm posting the largest ones that flickr has one these.

i get that stupid message any time i use sleep anymore. it's so dumb. i mean, it's powered off, just doing the glowing/pulsing power led do-hickey thing, i'll come back to it a couple hours later and the stupid thing is powered on with that message staring back at me.

How about a window of the future:

The future of Coast Guard aviation. The all new HC-144 came to visit us yesterday and I thought it would be a great submission for this assignment.

In keeping with the spirit of the assignment, I took the camera out to the hangar this morning and started playing with my aperture and shutter speed settings. Out of about 20 shots this is the best I could come up with. Still working on learning the camera. Tips anyone? I know I had bad lighting, but I don't know where all of the light switches are in this thing.
