Nice shots. You guys are making me jealous with your Thailand shots... I can't wait to go. Did you get your housing for the 5D just for that trip?

Got the housing a while ago, but I did get a strobe and macro port for the trip. The Avatar tree is based off of that worm (Christmas Tree worm), although it's inverted in the movie iirc. Not sure if there's a real inverted version, but they basically act the same in the way they snap into its shell. |

Noise Reduc.:14-24 @24mm My questions: What could I have done (composition) to make this better? (I feel like I should crop, idk, a 1/4'' off the top of the frame, so just the tip of the building is showing) Getting closer wasn't really an option, as I was already ankle deep in the infinity pool, as was my (metal) tripod....ouch, thinking about rust!! PP work: like/dislike? I guess, if I could shoot this again, I'd point the camera a little downward, so I'd get more reflection in the H20 and less sky [past the top of the building]. But doesn't that screw with the verticals/distortion w/a wide angle lens? Thanks for putting up w/my "green" photog questions, as always ![]() michael Last edited by MCA8690; 02-19-2010 at 12:12 AM. |

some browsers allow you to see the meta info without saving it. otherwise, just saving the image and then clicking to find the properties will allow you to see the info too. if you allow it. some erase those permissions via their photo hosting site. i stopped paying attention after about eight words into your post, so if that didn't answer your question, sorry. <--- has low attention span |
