WMRRA Round 1 Photos

Moaka comes around the first lap, in roughly 10th place or so..... next lap, he comes past me, and he's in 4th.... Great riding Moaka!

Kevin Klemmer making good use of his new R6

Duane's been waiting to get on track since october...

Mario Alvarez II plagued by mechanicals all weekend, finally had the bike situated with the help of OMRRA Racers McDonough and Tatom. Him and his RS125 will need to wait until Round 2 to put down some hot laps.

Tim, a huge helper this weekend, was fast as always.

Andy Brackett went out on a limb using rains, but in the end it stayed dry, Monica Wallace sets up for a pass.

Eli, on the move, even in the damp conditions

Eric Featherstone fixed his carburation issues with the help of Allister, and on saturday his bike was ripping around the track! Great work Eric!

Doug preps for his first race. WMRRA 906

Mike MacConaghy leads the Open SS race for many laps, with Ross and Eli in tow.

With no functioning rear brake, Moaka Clay puts his mechanical issue aside and still moved up to 4th place by the end of the race.

Is this close enough racing for the top 3? The BMW was wheeliing out of t7 up into t8.

Before the rains came, Eli leads the first lap; before Jones, 13, lead a majority of the race.

Almost 4 wide out of T6

The rains came, and shortly after 829 lost the front... here are 2 of a series of 10 i captured.

This is IN THE AIR still. This hasnt touched the grass wall yet. 829 watches as it flips violently roughly 15 feet in the air!

Young gun WMRRA Racer #898, at a ripe 11 years old or so, was cooking along! Happy to be racing. What WMRRA is all about.
