I like the photo; the only thing I could point out is the shinny spot on the table is a bit distracting.

The patterns lead my eyes to the background, which has more interesting subjects (kids, life mag cover). I guess the focus on the rook, which is uninteresting to me compared to the background is really distracting.

I love Chess, I like the pic. The thing I like best is there is a child there, and it makes me feel good to think that childrens minds are being stimulated with a complex game.......................yep |

I played chess tournaments for many years, and you run into some real characters. The is a mall at crossroads in Bellivue that players congregate - might be a great photo op.
