| Senior Member Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 184 From: Darkness My Camera: must take pretty pictures | For this session, 3 strobes: 2x 500w/s and one 600 w/s 1 500 used above other strobes up front on each side. For this particular shot, only the overhead strobe was used with no diffusion.

| Senior Member | Jayt those are good if you could match the skin color it would be a keeper (Mag quality) the first one the hotspots are distracting Since youve got the lighting keep your computer with you and load the pics on to it so you can find out where you need the diffuser where you might need more light and be able to adapt those changes almost immediately The skin in the second pic has a good tone but in the first the hair pops and has that silky look that is good for marketing Last edited by Killermondodude; 04-14-2008 at 11:25 PM.. |

My Camera: disposable | all i can say is that the lighting is a tad harsh. may have benefited from putting a reflector somewhere in front or a really, really low flash just to soften the edges of the shadows a little (ie under her nose, creases in face). may also have helped with the weird shadow created on her shoulder.
