| Member Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 89 From: Seattle My Camera: Konica/Minolta Maxxum 7D | The B&W looks better, but I'd soften it a little - also bump the contrast down a touch, maybe do a slight vignetting toward the edges. That should give it a very classic-type of look.

| Member Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 39 From: Bothell, WA My Camera: Sony A700 | BW just seems so classy...esp for a wedding. Not a pro either. Am wondering what to do about the on-camera harshness too? Maybe a whaletail or something to that effect? Check this site out for wedding-specific pointers. There's some handy advice for photogs in there. Keep those nice snaps coming! |

Guess he made his humble beginnings as a wedding photog and has made a killing selling his accessories. Just bought his Puffer as I'm a broke-a$$ ametuer just learing (read: can't afford a hot shoe flash yet). I'll throw up some pics soon with maybe a write up. |

| Junior Member Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 23 From: Kirkland, WA My Camera: Canon A640 | I didn't notice the flash at first but what I did notice was I was looking up the woman's nose. Might be because of it being dead center of the picture. I know it's not a posed shot (and those can be tough to control) but it's what I see here. Obviously you're focusing on the woman, not the man in this shot, but if he was moved more in frame or slightly more out of frame I think it would draw more attention to her as an overall object. |
