Mom wanted some pictures.

mom wanted me to take pics of her and her husband. Wanted to go at 1pm and wanted traditional (boring) portraits. I had off camera flash available but it just wasn't strong enough to get rid of harsh shadows. I'm picking up a reflector.

I don't do portraits often. I'm much more 'practiced' at landscape and nature shots but trying to get better at portraits.

My Camera: Canon S5 and XTi

You need an up close side-by-side headshot (without the killer sunlight) so you can use the softening technique. I bet they'd love a photo like that.

nice photos eric. I like em! Nice meetin your mom too. Always nice having the moms out supporting the sport
